Privacy Policy

Livo is an independent app published by RedFrontDoor. We don't ask for personal information unless we truly need it, we don't share it for advertising or data-mining, and we keep your health data on your device.

1. What Livo reads from Apple Health

With your permission, Livo reads the following categories from Apple HealthKit to render your dashboard: heart rate and heart rate variability, resting heart rate, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, body and wrist temperature, sleep analysis, steps, distance, flights climbed, active and basal energy, exercise minutes, stand hours, VO₂ max, workouts, menstrual flow, mindful sessions, and high, low and irregular heart-rhythm events. You can revoke any category at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Livo.

2. How Apple Health data is used

All HealthKit data is processed locally on your device to compute your Body Battery estimate, sleep and recovery summaries, cycle insights, and stress trends. Livo's use of HealthKit data adheres to Apple's HealthKit API requirements. We do not use HealthKit data — or any other data — for advertising, marketing, data mining, or training machine-learning models. We do not disclose HealthKit data to any third party.

3. Other data you enter in the app

Livo includes an optional wellness journal where you can log pain, energy, mood, symptoms, foods, medications, and free-text notes. These entries are stored locally on your device using iOS's standard secure app-container storage. They are not transmitted off your device. You may export your journal as a JSON file at any time through the iOS share sheet; once exported, you choose where that file goes.

4. Storage, backup, and retention

Your data lives only on your device for as long as Livo is installed. If you back up your iPhone (iCloud Backup or encrypted local backup), Livo's local data is included in that backup, the same as any other app. Uninstalling Livo deletes all locally-stored data. We retain no data ourselves because we have no servers, no analytics, and no account system.

5. Third-party services and tracking

Livo contains no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporters, and no tracking code of any kind. We do not use the Apple Tracking Transparency framework because we do not track you.

6. Children's privacy

Livo is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone. The app reads only what your iPhone already stores in Apple Health.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do, and material changes will also be announced in the App Store release notes.
